Build Quality

Build quality is a must to consider when choosing the best gaming keyboard. 

The Razer Huntsman Elite and the Blackwidow elite are of aluminum build, which is excellent for a mechanical keyboard, primarily for gaming.

I really like the form factor of these keyboards, and they are built to last long. 

As per the numbers, a lifetime of these keyboards signifies, that the Razer Huntsman Elite has a higher keystroke lifespan of about 20% compared to the Blackwidow (Razer Huntsman has a 100M keystroke lifespan whereas the Blackwidow elite has a keystroke lifespan of 80M). 

Performance

Now coming to the performance, how are they?

Both the Razer Blackwidow elite and the Huntsman elite differ here to a great extent.

Though both of their keyboards are built to satisfy professional gamers still their keyboard feel is very different.

The Razer Blackwidow Elite comes with the Clicky type of mechanical switches by Razer. The clicky switches give a good amount of feedback, clicking tactility, and a clicking sound with every click.

I love playing games, and when choosing a type of switch, I always prefer having a clicky switch. The clicky switches give the real essence of gaming.

Now, the Huntsman Elite has another type of mechanical switch.

The switch type is linear. You have two variants to choose from.

One is the Linear Optical red switches from Razer, and another is the Clicky Optical Purple Switches from Razer.

The type of switches used in the Huntsman Elite is chosen to keep the speed of clicks in mind. The linear switches are definitely faster to click. However, you will not get that clicky sound and tactile feedback from the switch.

Still, the Clicky Optical Purple looks good for the Huntsman Elite.

Both have a tie in terms of precision and consistency of clicks during gaming in terms of performance.

If you compare the clock speed, the winner would be the Huntsman Elite with the linear switches.

I trust Razer for Gaming, a series of keyboards and mice. They are undoubtedly good.
